The Moon Glow Collection of Rare UV Sea Glass Jewelry

Ah, UV glass... with just a touch of uranium (don't panic - it gives off less radiation than you would get standing in the sun for five minutes, but more on that later). UV Sea Glass is mysterious, surprising and really just plain fun. Under that exterior of sedate yellow green - or in rare cases red and orange - lies a secret... a secret ready to surprise and delight.

I was six when I discovered the joys of UV Sea Glass. The subtle-colored sea gems could be found near my home in Norther California, and it was my father who explained that they were glowing stars in disguise.

Because, when exposed to UV light, that uranium that gave the glass its subtle color came to life, glowing bright and through the darkness with its own unique, bright acid green fire.

This began a life-long love affair (and an extensive, carefully curated collection) of these fascinating and rare Sea Glass treasures. Now, after 40+ years of beach combing, I am sharing these treasures with you. They represent thousands of hours of searching, but I think you'll agree they are worth it!
